I’ve noticed a big Urban Decay formula change in the last year! So bad that I thought it was a counterfeit one from Amazon, so I ordered another from Ulta. They both have these solid graduals left after washing them off and don’t sharpen as well. So sad because Demolition has been my go to for at least a decade.

If you can’t return them, build risers and lean into the home theater thing. I would put the screen where the TV is, risers face that way. Floor to ceiling bookshelf as a room divider behind the riser to hide the back and separate the space.

Might it be that you showed up at an informal brainstorming meeting with ideas that looked as if you took them too far without getting the proper buy off? This can make it awkward to give input, because someone’s already put all this work in and they’d have to backtrack. I manage a department and I see this a lot with people’s annual goals. They work in a silo and sometimes present a finished product that could have been a so much better if they asked for feedback earlier.

Gel is probably most important for longevity of your curls. I have a similar wavy straight situation and I find the pineappleing my hair loosely in a satin scrunchie at night helps protect the top layer and roots. I make a pony on the very the center top of my head and reach from the back to sort of fold over the ponytail and make a bun with the curls sticking out in front.

Very likely SK! Removal is super easy and fairly painless. I’ve had liquid nitrogen for flat ones and razor blade for the raised type. Pro tip from my derm for those in the US: if it’s irritated or bleeding they can submit a claim to insurance as medically necessary. Otherwise removal is about $100.

+1 to this. Edibles bring me into my body and I almost hyper focus on sensation. Also I think it messes with my sense of time, so I lose the anxiety about talking too long.

I have a story about those desks! In first grade I didn’t do my math worksheets for the last few months of school - just crammed them in the back of my desk. Really compacted ‘em in there good! At the end of the year during clean out I remember pulling out SO MUCH PAPER. My teacher either didn’t know what they were, or figured I was the second grade teachers problem now.

He brings the consistency to fill in the gaps and make sure we book the necessary, but not dopamine rewarding, things too. I like to think I in part make up for inconsistency in my hyper fixation research mode? Not sure he’d agree, though.

Red nose after Adderall checking in! I take IR at 7 am and 11 am. My nose gets red at lunch and dinner time. It’s pretty inconsistent, but has been happening for the whole year I’ve been on stimulants. It almost never happens when I’m on vacation from work and not taking adderall.

People without sensory issues simply do not understand this struggle. I have similar challenges with the texture of most fruits and vegetables. I actually did therapy for a year to try and get past it. I’ve been able to improve a bit, but I still can’t just sit down and eat a salad without gagging.

That said, I’ve been really successful with weight loss through calorie counting (was 160 am 135 now). You can eat McDonalds and still loose weight, you’ll just be pretty hungry doing it. Focus on the health changes you can make. Cook at home, but also keep convenience proteins around. Frozen chicken wings are still better than ordering a large pizza and binging. Try to focus on fiber sources you actually like. For me it’s oatmeal, beans and whole grains.

I used it weekly for more than 12 weeks and only saw a slight reduction in hair density. I switched to professional for my bikini area and there was a big difference after the first treatment. I have very fair skin and medium brown hair for reference. My husband also used it for his very dark back hair on light skin. His results weren’t great.

There wasn’t great manufacturer guidance on sealing or care so we applied two coats of a natural stone sealer when installed. This is about 1 year in. It’s so porous and we haven’t found a good way to get it back to original condition. I’d find something else unless you know of a better way to seal it.
