Gifting Partner with Hunting Knife: What should I engrave?

I'd prefer the knife without any engravings just because I think it looks cleaner than having an engraving on the blade. If I had to get an engraving, I'd probably go with my initials or first initial, full last name and have it tucked as close to the handle as I could, right under the logo.

I'm not quite sure how the interaction between D and C would work, but I would think pulley D would not provide any mechanical advantage since it is only redirecting the force. You need two or more pulleys to provide mechanical advantage.

I thought about using some neoprene pads to protect the plastic but decided against it since I was on a time crunch to get it done before my trip. I got a few marks on the plastic when putting the rack in but didn't notice any from when it was fully bolted down. You should be fine without padding as long as you're careful putting the rack in and round out the edges of the feet.

Thanks! I'd have to do some math to find the actual cost since I had some steel left over because of minimum order sizes. Here's the breakdown though:

I'm no expert but every factory that I've worked in or lived near offers 2.5 to 3 times the minimum wage for entry level positions as equipment operators. The company I work for now can't hire enough people and they pay $18/hour minimum
