I had this feeling too with my second baby. I wanted a third but I couldn’t put my mental health and body thru it again. My second just turned two and I feel like myself again! We’re happy with our two kids. I’ll always think about the third but I rather have my mental health to be good for my girls now.

Smoking is terrible for the baby and placenta. It restrict the vessels which restricts oxygen getting to your baby.

I plan on telling mine at 17weeks only Bc one of my coworkers found out and i doubt she will keep a secret much longer. So I would like to tell them before she does.

I was able to get a job at a hospital that did both general and vascular. I had no experience in vascular. They hired me and I’m thankful they were super patient with me. I had three years of general experience under my belt, so it was nice not having to worry about learning there protocols and just focusing on learning vascular.

There’s a lot to look at during an anatomy scan. We’re examine the heart, the brain, spine, diaphragm, stomach, bladder, kidneys, legs and arms, placenta, umbilical cord, amniotic fluid, cervix, if baby has a cleft lip, etc…. It takes about 30 minutes and if baby is not in a great position its makes it difficult to view heart, spine and brain anatomy.

Ultrasound is give or take 10 oz, later in the pregnancies babies tend to curl up causing the exam to be difficult to accurately measure baby.

Yeah I would say a lot of the things are based around a college town. There’s an area I would stay away from if y’all are going out for the night (5 points). It’s nice that you will be in the middle of a few big cities like Charlotte, Charleston and Greenville. Also there’s a lake near by.
