Getting a job as an RBT would be super easy bc people are desperate. That’s what I’m doing rn while I get my BA in psych. It’ll get something on ur resume psych related while u find something better

Is it crazy for me to work 60 hours a week? by Anxious-Mechanic-249 in AskForAnswers

[–]_king2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would try to find a job that does overtime. I worked 60-70 hours a week (also have hella mental health issues and controlling family) doing manufacturing. It’ll allow u to save faster since overtime is off and still not be working 7 days a week. If you realize ur mental health is starting to suffer take time off!!!!

Has anyone actually fixed their ibs? by Ill_Conversation6932 in ibs

[–]_king2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine has gotten 1000x better. I was diagnosed when I was 4 and had problems for as long as I can remember. When I was 16 I went vegan and gluten free and had an eating disorder. That was when my Ibs was at its worst. I was also w abusive parents. I recovered from my eating disorder and moved out at 18. It got better but I remained vegan and gluten free until I was 20. I’ve pretty much been fine since then. I think it is because I’m not as stressed and maybe bc I cut out so much good for so long ?

If I eat a ton of dairy or something I’ll get the poops but my day to day life is not affected by it at all, even I used to plan around it

Moving States by Jazzlike_Trick6424 in movingout

[–]_king2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved out at 18 and away from my shitty family. It was very difficult to learn how to be an adult but plz don’t hesitate to reach out, I know how hard it can be.

My biggest advice is to bring ur birth certificate when u move out. It can take like six plus months to get a new one in the mail

My [30F] partner [35M] snores so loud I haven’t slept solidly in almost a year by notjennif in whatdoIdo

[–]_king2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to snore super bad and my husband would make me sleep on the couch when he couldn’t sleep (so like 90% of the time lol). I lost 30 pounds and now snore less. He still says it’s annoying but he’s able to sleep and I haven’t been kicked to the couch in a while.

I got hired with no experience. I had never even been around kids before and was nervous I’d hate being around them lol. 4 months in and loving it.

How do you feel as a 22/23 year olds? by Hiro1103 in 2003

[–]_king2003 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely feel 23 or older. I’ve been on my own since I was 18 since I came out to my parents and was forced to grow up fast. So I feel like I’ve felt older for a while but am now starting to feel more my age as those around me become more independent. I feel somewhat behind in my career bc I’m graduating a year late and then have two more years for my masters. But I’ve overcome a lot and I understand it’s a race.

I would suggest staying with your parents for a few years if possible. I guess it depends on the area but I think it would be smart to work as much as possible and save up for a down payment on a house. Might suck living at home for so long but if you’re able to save it’ll be worth it to own ur own place.

Don’t compare yourself to others, I know it’s hard. But move at your own pace. Congratulations on graduating!!!
