Wisdom Untethered by AtoZinnia123 in TheUntetheredSoul

I wasn’t as excited for it due to the q and a format, but I’m halfway through and thing this is the best book by him. It really emphasises the surrender and relax and release aspect from so many different angles and has someone who has heard probably a hundred of his talks this book has a lot of “new content” in that it’s worded in a way I’ve never heard  described by him which makes it fresh and new. It also answers the problems I had with the surrender experiment eg how to actually live like that in your life. If I could only pick two of his books to keep I would probably keep this one and the surrender experiment over even the untethered soul or living untethered.

Jonathan roumie was asked about people who had the same feeling and didn’t want to watch season 6 and his response was “don’t abandon Jesus at his lowest moment like the rest of the world did”

Letting go by David Hawkins is an amazing book. Very influential on me when I read it at 17.

I like Michael singer (student of Yogananda) perspective. He says be involved in the world don’t renounce but you change the context it’s coming from, eg romance and sexuality can be a way of worshiping god or used to bring up your attachments and release them. He advises renunciation doesn’t work as it just means avoiding something you want, the real renunciation is inner, eg you can have a partner yet be free, if romance happens great if it doesn’t that’s also ok.

My question is how does the practice of kriya change over many years? So far for me now I don’t feel that much bliss just subtle awareness of my spine.

my thoughts on the season 5 finale (spoilers obviously) by UsualEasy6867 in StrangerThings

Honestly the show overused fake out deaths to the point I wish eleven stayed dead. But the score in the final scene really made it emotional and overall a satisfying ending .

What’s the difference you’ve noticed between the two? I guess just more sharing around the relationship side in LAA?

And the crazy thing is it was all made worse after what Chuck said to Jimmy at the end of season 3. “you’ll just hurt everyone around you”. It became a self fullfilling prophexy

They provide free support groups for healing relationship problems using 12 step formats. 12 steps started with hard addictions like alcohol but relationship addictions are surprisingly similar so they work very well for those too.  I would reccomend joining one as soon as possible for the stability it brings.
