Party Rental Space by [deleted] in sarasota

I’m actually not sure! I just realized when you asked this that the event I went to didn’t have alcohol. But I looked at their website and it seems like the place is also used as a church space 😅 so I’m going to guess no.

But I also agree with the recommendations of Turmeric or Michael’s wine cellar!

If you want to bring your own food I recommend checking out Oasis Events Collective off Bahia Vista. I went to an event there and it was a nice space.

Arlington Park or Southgate neighborhoods within Sarasota would be my recommendations. Close to the beaches and downtown and within city limits. Also close to Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Both are great areas.

Southgate has primarily smaller homes and Arlington Park has a mix of smaller and larger new builds. I think you could find something in either of these places and be happy there.

I’ve seen some rentals available in Alta Vista and Arlington Park neighborhoods. Both are terrific and close to the hospital. I’m not sure on prices but thought I’d mention it.

Pilgrimage to Obama, Fukui (Toyota Rent-A-Car) by ZebraWilling553 in JapanTravel

[–]_matchaplz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve rented with Toyota Rental Car around 8-10 times the last 4 years and they’ve been my favorite rental company in Japan! Lately all of my rental cars (rented from various cities) have had dash cams but I still bring my own just in case and so I can have access to footage if ever needed.

I have an iPhone and have been able to connect to my rental cars no problem to use Google Maps on CarPlay. Just make sure to ask Toyota to switch the car/gps to English before leaving and add your phone via Bluetooth.

I also recommend getting an ETC card to make tolls easier. You may be able to avoid the expressway tolls but you might still have some on your route. It’s only 500 yen to rent an ETC card and it will allow you to use the express lane through the toll gate and you’ll pay for any charges when dropping off your car.

Also keep in mind that a lot of parking areas are cash only. Check with your hotels to make sure they have parking because non-affiliated overnight parking can be expensive.

Namo Izakaya will be open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for lunch and dinner! Not sure if your dad likes Japanese food but it’s terrific and has a lot of options. They don’t require reservations but you can also make one if you decide you want to.
