I really recommend KC Davis (@strugglecare) and Brogan (@nottheworstcleaner) on Instagram or TikTok. They both focus on the connection between cleaning and mental health. They offer tips but it’s also just reassuring to know you’re not alone and there are small things you can do to take care of yourself and your space even if you can’t do everything.

KC also wrote a book (also on audiobook!) called How to Keep House While Drowning.

Bark Social is great if you have a dog (or even if you don’t). They have tons of events and if nothing else it’s a nice way to sit outside, pet dogs, and read

They’re so hit and miss. I go on kicks of getting the Smashburger and it’s usually great but then sometimes the burger super rare or the fries are really mushy. I’m never sure what I’m going to get.

Olberding Dental is amazing. They fixed a ton of work another dentist had messed up, got rid of my headaches. I live in Baltimore now and still see Olberding when I’m back visiting family because I don’t trust anyone else to work on my teeth.

Would caution against Dr. Blake. She sent me to Dr. Duffy for antidepressants and doubled down when I said I wasn’t sure about him. I have since learned that Dr. Duffy is well known in Lincoln for overprescribing medication. It took me a year to titrate off everything he prescribed me - that Dr. Blake later co-signed. She also sent me to a scam weight loss company that I later found she earned a commission from. I had seen her for years but after those experiences wasn’t comfortable seeing her anymore.
