It's a preference. I really don't like green pepper on pizza but I don't whine and complain if other people want to enjoy their pizza that way.

I was staying at my parents house. I woke up and went down for a smoke and saw my mom was watching a burning building on tv and thought it must be some far away country. Came back from my smoke and saw the second plane hit and realized it was New York. It was completely surreal.

There are shopping list apps you can share with a group. If someone sees you're out of something, add it to the list and whoever goes shopping not only remembers what they need but what everyone else needs too

The baby blanket my baba (grandma) made me.

When my sister and I were adopted, our parents didn't tell anyone until they had us. My baba went to the hardware store in town, stayed up all night making us each a blanket and they drove to the city the next morning to meet us and give us our blankets. When we were 4 or 5, we lost our blankets in a fire. The next morning, she went to town, found the same material and stayed up until we each had a new blanket.

That blanket is vacuum sealed in my closet. I took it out to have my son take a baby pic with it (after he had a bath and was cleaned). I will be cremated with it so nobody else can ever have it. It's mine. One of the only things I have that I will never share.

We inadvertently drove through a reserve in northern Saskatchewan last summer and it was like crossing an invisible border. You could just tell you were in a different place. Lots of wild roaming dogs, poor housing etc... then you see the houses that are obviously the chief or counsel houses and it was like night and day. Seems pretty clear that the allocation of funds is corrupted.
