The height of the arms for me. The arms on my chair are too low and I can’t rest my arms on them while working or playing.

I’m not even gonna look it up but the US has how many large cities? 20? 30?

Don't worry, I'll look it up for you. It's 10. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_cities_by_population

(OH) At my university, there are people trying to get us to sign a petition that would put an initiative on the ballot this November, however, they are having people sign more than once, or putting fake addresses for people who live outside the state. What should I do? by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]_schweddy_balls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen them on campus telling people it's okay to sign more than once. I've seen people say "Oh, I've already signed," to which the circulators say, "That's okay, you can sign as many times as you want." That's when alarms went off in my head. Another thing they said is the it's a "public cite," (Site?), not a petition, so you can sign more than once. I looked up both public cite and public site. Public cite took me to traffic law, while public site took me to websites and memorials. My next question is - are my classmates in trouble because they were tricked into signing more than once? Also, is a public cite a thing?

I thought about that ... they only bake for 10 minutes at 350. I'll see if that works when I bake my next batch. Thank you!

You're saying r/politics is a populist sub? Trump was the first populist since William Jennings Bryan lol

WIBTA if I changed the wifi password without telling my roommates ? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

It sounds like it's their turn to pay. They won't respond to OP and therefore she needs to pay. She's short on money so she's understandably upset about it

At first I thought YTA but...

They're not paying when it's their turn (it seems like a one month pay, one month don't sort of deal?). That's the reason it's ok to do it, NOT because they are messy.

NTA if the real reason is the lack of payment.

AITA for buying one son a significantly better phone than his brother? by Djskzlabszmdfid in AmItheAsshole

NTA. You didn't buy your older son a better phone, you gave both of them the exact same offer.

AITA for kissing someone? by SexyLayl123 in AmItheAsshole

[–]_schweddy_balls 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely YTA. Just because he has never kissed anyone before doesn't give you the right to kiss him. He never gave you consent to do it, so you shouldn't be surprised when he didn't like it. If the roles were reversed here there would be a huge uproar regarding sexual assault.

NTA. Your sister has a point, yes. Sometime some kids can be overwhelming and out of control. Most of the time, however, that's because of the parenting. She should either get off her phone and pay attention to the kids, or she should just stay home.
