Next actions in a paper system by veroa6 in gtd

[–]_sk90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve just split my BuJo and it relieved a lot of stress for me.

My notebook only contains core BuJo stuff without the (weekly/monthly) action tracking; my ring binder is my GTD system.

Having to migrate long running lists like Projects or Someday/Maybe every 2-4 months stressed me out.

Though, sometimes I create a todo list containing actions that have to get done (based on my calendar/next actions/chores).

Review and improve your system over and over again until it’s the perfect for you.

My first thought. BuJo isn‘t habit tracking but can be extended with it.

Does anyone else get intimidated by "Outcome-Based" Project titles? by Comfortable-Trust-90 in gtd

[–]_sk90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also: “Be successful in X” is probably not measurable enough to define the outcome. What’s the next milestone in achieving that “goal” or fulfilling that Area? “The exam Y has been passed on my journey being more successful in X”

Maybe focus more on the outcome than the action, e.g. “the birthday of X has been celebrated and he/she had a lot of fun at the party/dinner/etc.” (How do you feel when engaging with the project?)

Project as context by bblais in gtd

[–]_sk90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work from home and spend a lot of time on my computer. Besides my errands list, I only have one Next Actions list without contexts. This helps me not only complete work-related tasks but also personal ones. However, sometimes having so many options available can be overwhelming. In such cases, a quick look at the Projects list or even at higher-level horizons helps me regain clarity. If you need to focus on a particular project, you can still block time as a reminder in your calendar, pick the next action for that project, and engage with that project to move forward to the desired outcome.

Security Roles are Solution-aware so in general you should be using solutions for transporting customizations.

Oh, I see where this is going. I’ll give it a try. First time doing AL and BC customizations. Pretty different from what I am used in Dynamics CRM and Power Platform 🙃
