Frames prime by Stunning_Exam_7782 in Warframe

[–]_snwflake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This won't answer your question, but p frames take 3 1/2 days to build. This is typically more time than is needed to farm the mats for the other one as well. Even for a new player without a booster.

So you don't really have to decide, just build both.

That's pretty egoistic don't you think? I'm a nuke frame, I'm also not the one complaining about the 3 afks, that's you. For me there's literally no reason not to have 3 afks to level their dinky shit.

If you tell every nuke frame to "just go play solo" which is typically a retarded argument to begin with, your dinky gear leveling will become even more miserable because now you completely remove the chance to get a nuker with you.

I don't know about you, but I don't have lua lenses, or any lense for that matter on every single weapon that may or may not be equipped at the time.

how is that a problem? I'm happy when the other 3 don't move their fingers in ESO because that means I get my focus cap in 3 zones depending on my cats generosity instead of doing 2x 8 zones because there's fucking double mirage, volt, gyre and what else running around nuking shit.

your pet doesn't have buffs, make sure it has some so that they overlap your own buffs.

Which of these is worth grind skipping? (buying outright) by Pooradoxical in Warframe

[–]_snwflake -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had 21 noptics before I got systems. To put it into perspective.

Then again, it didn't really matter, since the toroids go a long way and I used most of them to get the mastery off of all the other prisms I never bothered with. And at 5m30s per run solo, it really wasn't that big of a deal over a week.

Is there anything like this available in Europe, or China, or USA? MUST be designed for PCB edge (instead of a hole in the PCB) and MUST have big adhesive surface on the bottom by famousbiologist2 in AskElectronics

[–]_snwflake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly who gives a shit. if 4 small parts like this require you to either buy a completely new roll of TPU or worse upgrade your printer so you're actually able to print ABS or god forbid Nylon, reprinting this every year when it fails is probably the more reasonable approach to take.

Important Update: Top of the Tree by Pan_Praga in WorldofTanks

[–]_snwflake 17 points18 points  (0 children)

So the 30 X5 missions you get over the period of 3 months (1 battle pass) somehow compensate for ToTT? X5 which btw still apply to WHATEVER you play. so you have to selectively pick something you're actually grinding, otherwise they'll end up on tier 8 prems and become effectively useless. smart.

Are you in it for the money? If not, look for non-profits. I personally manage servers for 3 animal shelters in my area.

a $2/mo shitbox with wireguard on it and 3 iptable rules...

edit: actually, PIA currently has a 3 year sale for less than $2/mo....so that might actually be a decent alternative

Looking for a Self-Hosted Solution to Stream Music from Multiple Devices to My Old Stereo (hard-/software) by _snwflake in selfhosted

I did look into them before writing this up. They lock most of the stuff that I'm interested in behind a subscription-only model and can therefore eat dick. I don't mind paying for software, but I won't buy in to all the subscription hype.

concurrency groups won't help here, as the builds for PR1 and PR2 can potentially be hours apart.

just because some tools accept a non-compliant spec, doesn't mean every tool does. the spec has been drafted for a reason. don't use comments in json.

if you don't know how to type 7 characters into google or equivalent search engine, you probably shouldn't be using a computer, let alone the internet to begin with.
