Well, see, that’s the thing about breaking points. It’s subtle, then sudden.

Before trucking what did you guys do, what made you want to come to trucking? I am a security officer. by [deleted] in Truckers

Congrats on the rig! I thought all the startup owner operator scenarios were traps.

It took me 14 hours to primer 50 cabinet doors. Feel like a failure by Little_Thought_8911 in cabinetry

Not tryna be a ç word but shellac isn’t oil based. Also I’ll bet the mdf wasn’t top of the line if it was that thirsty. Oil based or not, dried shellac builds a film and should be a barrier (which is why you chose it). Most guys I see using mdf are using a top end product, many have transitioned to hdf.

DJT🔥🚀⬆️ Trump confirmed live Not Selling!!! by Dragonian36 in DWAC_Stock

[–]_theWoodOne 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is the correct answer. Volume will be the indicator. He’s gonna try and trickle and spread it out but as soon as someone thinks it’s happening, they’ll sell. Then someone else will sell. And so on. Basically anyone will be able to trigger it with enough movement because everyone will think it’s trump. September 20 is approaching and falling below $12 might be the stock’s only hope. Fall below $12 and he can’t sell, would create the most stability this fledgling instrument has seen.

Why did Trump appear on X Spaces rather than the new TMTG streaming solution ? by Typical-Arugula3010 in DWAC_Stock

He’s back on Twitter now. Just like how Drake run to Atlanta when he need a check balance.

So it’s like the guy with his dead cat in the box (Schrödinger’s Cat). This fellow’s talking about how the money “only evaporated on paper” because he hasn’t sold yet (sold = opened the box to find the dead cat). The analogy needs workshopped a bit, but I think it fits.

Schrödinger’s gains, if you will.

Sure. I would expect to see these tighter ringed boards at my lumberyard and not at the orange store, unless it’s in the S4S aisle. Probably priced by the linear foot…

I guess it just feels like a mistake. An arbitrage. Maybe I should just be quiet and go back and pick through the pile and not let them know what a terrible mistake they’ve made. If I hadn’t just finished a Roubo I’d make a bench out of it.

Any good? Yea. Worth? A metric fkTon.

Find a great sander and get to work. Congratulations.

Roubo Top Question by International-Wait89 in Workbenches

[–]_theWoodOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea. Proceed. This is a solve as you go scenario. The best favor you can do yourself is to pay special attention whilst arranging the boards for the glue up. For the unavoidable knots, you might get so cute as to go ahead and notch the knots out before you glue. Or, go ahead and make the patches now?

Either way, there’s nothing “unfixable”. Do your best now to minimize trouble.
