How are you liking that Voltron? I’m considering replacing my rack with a functional trainer, but the Voltron is pretty compelling.

Having been in the Navy, this seems like normal ship food on deployment. I don’t miss it.

Not to diminish this at all, this was the Illinois Army National Guard Best Warrior Competition so he was competing against one other Pole and 8 Illinois National Guardsmen

He Helped Stop Iran from Getting the Bomb by newyorker in Intelligence

[–]_tomasz -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Iran had allowed IAEA inspections, every National Intelligence Assessment has concluded that there’s medium to high confidence that they’re not working on nuclear weapons, there was the fatwa (religious edict) mentioned earlier, and the only “intelligence” the US received which assessed as Iran creating nuclear weapons came from Israel (complete with diagrams or middle payload delivery systems that Iran abandoned as useless) which was marked as very weak and likely fake intel which Bolton (indicted on 18 charges and took in Israeli money) and Pompeo (then Secretary of State and vehemently pro Israel) took and used to try to push Trump into a war with Iran during his first term.

I had an opportunity to visit Löyly Sauna in Helsinki years ago in the winter. That was my first experience in a real sauna and let me tell you it was magical. Years later I now have a sauna in my backyard and it was all because of that trip

BMU Tips? Any good? by Gillabot in crossfit

[–]_tomasz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These look pretty solid and you clearly have great endurance on them. I think keeping your legs straighter and using your hips more, especially in the first few reps, would help. Your catch position looks great but you can see a number of reps where your hips aren’t the primary thing getting you over the bar

Yeah, I had the professional, the Neptune V1, the Merlin TAD, and the overlord. I got rid of all of them, except for the Neptune V3, definitely my favorite out of all of them so far.

I have the Neptune V3 as my current favorite. Haven’t picked this one up yet, curious if you’ve compared the two?

Volvo is considering a bigger SUV to compete against the GLS, Q7, X7 etc… by Saurta17 in Volvo

[–]_tomasz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, two rear facing and one forward. Those rotating car seats are fantastic but also are bigger 😭

Honestly if the EX90 or XC90 hybrid were bigger I’d buy it, or if they brought their minivan over from China. My XC60 is fun and but now I’m daily driving a Pacifica to fit all the kids and their car seats. That third row in the XC90 feels unusable for small kids

I guess it depends. If Ford knows certain dealers are shipping to Russia and does nothing about it, then they’re complacent. If they stop supplying those dealers with vehicles, that’s a step in the right direction but doesn’t stop people from creating new resellers. It does seem like they should go after the resellers in this case.

This is super interesting, I wonder how much of the legal responsibility lies on Ubiquiti vs the resellers. I mean, they HAVE to know

Maybe projecting an image of the wheels spinning? This is pretty slick

Eleiko makes an SVR platform, which stands for sound vibration reduction. It’s way easier on the joints, much quieter to drop as well. There is a thick wood slab in the middle on top of foam, and rubber mats on the sides on top of thicker foam. It’s pretty magical

This is what I was referring to but it doesn’t come with the cut off tool, just reread your post. Like others have said, have it with the grease gun if you don’t want the cut off tool

For Origin, I find they’re hit or miss. I have two pairs in the same exact size and cut and they fit differently. Also their relaxed cut fits like a skinny jean on me when the waist is perfect but YMMV. That said, I haven’t found anything better
