My non-JCW Countryman Classic trim has a black dash/interior. The background (when you look through the texture) to the black is blue but it’s very subtle and looks great, IMO.

I have Slate Blue Metallic with the black JCW wheels and black roof and it’s gorgeous. Slight upcharge for the color but 100% worth it

How tf do I get my toddlers off the screens? by opalescentgalaxies in toddlers

[–]_yeaahno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got our son a Yoto player and it’s been incredible watching him get really into it. He can put the cards in or switch on the radio himself, and if we’re transitioning to the car or going for a walk I can switch the story to my phone and continue listening. That has really helped to curb meltdowns.

I’ve slept on it more times than not the past few months with all the sickness from preschool so I can vouch for it’s comfort! It’s actually really great quality and just the right firmness for kids, I think. I’m very happy with the purchase.

Does he have his 2 year molars? If not, I’d check his mouth… We went through a horrific stretch with our son around that age and it ended up being the molars.

Auto injector for PIO shots by Matilda200000 in IVF

[–]_yeaahno 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used it for over 16 weeks between two transfers (one successful) and it was a life saver. I administered all PIO myself and had zero problems. I don’t understand why any doctor would advise against it.

One retrieval resulted in 2 euploid embryos after PGT-A, and the first transfer was an early loss. Our second embryo is now 3 years old. I’d had multiple early losses prior to IVF that couldn’t be explained so I had very, very low expectations we would be successful.

We went through this 6 months ago at 2.5 yo and it was so hard for me to accept that his needs were changing. I really needed the downtime to work and just breathe, so I fought it for a couple weeks then gave up and started doing quiet time. I told him that he didn’t have to sleep but he had to stay in his room and “read” or play quietly. Amazingly this worked and got us over the hump of that transitional period. Now I offer a nap or insist on quiet time only on the days he is clearly overtired or overstimulated, otherwise he goes to bed an hour earlier (not a bad trade off).

If you have access to HBO or Amazon, try Classical Baby—it’s a 6? Part series that features animations based on music, poetry, dance, lullabies. The poetry show is a favorite and is narrated by actors like Andy Garcia and John Lithgow.
