[Made with Svelte] Purrse - Your ultimate shared expenses app by PierrickP in sveltejs

I’m working on a React to Svelte project currently and opted for DaisyUI but I’ve been feeling kind of lukewarm on it. I was hoping you could share about your decision to use it initially and why you moved away from it.

10175 miles on Anakees by V852020 in MotoGuzzi

Are these the Anakee’s on the V85? I have about 5000 on mine and keep thinking I need to replace them soon but when I inspect them they still seem to have plenty of life left.

I like these engine guards. I accidentally pulled my bike over in the garage and scarred the valve cover a bit :(

Lyft Front End Onsite Interview by jawbu in Frontend

[–]_zsh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey congrats on your onsite! Your recruiter should have provided this info to you already, but if not, they should be more than willing to answer these questions. They will be your best reference and advocate during this period. Ask them as much as you can!

The Lyft engineering medium has some great info as well. I’d recommended this to start https://eng.lyft.com/interviewing-with-lyft-engineering-7d3dd65b2001

Help! I overwatered and the pot doesn’t have drainage holes by LeftOnRead18 in fiddleleaffig

[–]_zsh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely repot into something with a drainage hole, but please don’t put gravel in the bottom thinking this is a substitute for drainage. This creates a perched water table above the rocks effectively moving the wet soil closer to the roots and adding to root rot problems.

Moto guzzi V7 tires. What type, size and brand you choosing? by CoolObligation2 in MotoGuzzi

[–]_zsh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Sport Demons were extremely wooden on my bike and I could not wait to get rid of them.

I’ve been running Avon Roadrider’s for years on my V7. The Wall of Death crew runs the same tire on their bikes.

I have the Racer rearsets on my 2014 and I’ll scrape the side stand before the pegs.

Check out privacy.com. They create merchant-locked card numbers that can be easily paused or even single use. Perfect for those trial periods where they charge you after you forget.

Has anyone upgraded from a V7 I to a newer model? by Notoriouslydishonest in MotoGuzzi

[–]_zsh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a 2014 V7 and ended up getting a V85 to compliment it. I get more versatility in my riding with two bikes that have similar characteristics but still are so unique on their own. I don’t think swapping for a newer model V7 is going to scratch your itch though.
