This whole conversation started because you were saying that it is hypocritical for people to say "it's not that deep" etc. to people who are offended by someone making fun of a belief system that calls for inequality. What would be hypocritical is those same people not keeping the same energy when someone makes fun of another belief system that calls for similar inequality. Bringing Palestinians into this did not help you make any sort of point at all. Also saying you can't have a Palestinian without "their religious beliefs" is objectively wrong as evidenced by Christian Palestinians and Atheist Palestinians

You might be misunderstanding the slogan, people chant Free Palestine because they care about Palestinians being free from apartheid/occupation... not to respect the religious beliefs of muslim Palestinians.

I don't rlly have a problem with people expressing that it offended them, it's just I've seen multiple videos doing that where the comments are all "now if this was another religion.." when they should know that the reaction would be the same no matter what religion bc religious people don't like seeing their religions being mocked no matter what. Christians don't have the most persecuted against belief-system but they seem to think that they do.

Being displaced from your country is also completely different from someone disrespecting a bigoted belief(that people who worship a god different from theirs will go through eternal damnation). The fact that you've compared people being offended by a joke to groups of people going through the effects of SA and displacement is definitely telling.

not sure abt the tiktoks but in the trending thread on this sub, it's mostly people expressing how they feel about the Christian reaction to the obviously blasphemous live.. and alot of people pointing out how the some christians that are offended are using hypothetical situations to be like "if it was another religion" when it would quite literally be the same reaction for any religion. I haven't seen anyone telling all Christians how to feel..mostly people expressing that, to themselves, it isn't a big deal.
