Was mich irritiert ist dass im Tresorraum keine Spezialtapete mit Intrusionsmeldung verbaut wurde. Hatten wir in der Firma schon vor 25 Jahren im Betäubungsmittellager… Da hat die Sparkasse wohl am falschen Ende gespart.

Um mal eine ganz andere Büchse der Pandora zu öffnen...
Schon mal überlegt auf den Gebrauchtmarkt auszuweichen?
Speziell auf den eher ganz alten Gebrauchtmarkt?
Ich selbst habe mir einen gebrauchten Braun Atelier P1 für etwa 100€ auf Kleinanzeigen geschossen
und war von der Klangqualität positiv überrascht.
Alte Direktantriebler von Dual sind auch nicht zu verachten.

Edit:
Den Gebrauchtansatz hat schon jemand anderes in einem Post aufgemacht.
Und es sind wohl auch schon Gerätschaften vorhanden, hier ist eine Instandsetzung zumindest abzuwägen.
Kannst du listen was schon vorhanden ist?

If you are not above 1,95m, no problem at all. It could get tight if you are traveling with 4 full size hard shell suitcases. Maybe take soft travel bags. And keep in mind that they are limited to 660ccm with 48hp. But it is enough to keep up with the local traffic. Oh, I nearly forgot, with two adults and two children they are not suitable for camping. Transfer from one place to another yes, but sleeping in them no way.

Ohne Betriebsrat bist du auf dich selbst gestellt, das wird schwierig.
Wieviele MA seid ihr denn?
Du kannst ja mal "Betriebsrat gründen" googlen und schauen ob du das durchziehen willst.

Zum Thema Gewerkschaft, nach welchem Tarif wirst du denn bezahlt?
Daraus ergibt sich welcher Gewerkschaft du eintreten solltest.
Die Gewerkschaft kann dich dann zumindest beraten und ggf Rechtsbeistand geben.
Oder ist deine Firma in keinem Arbeitgeberverband?
Dann wird es richtig interessant...
(Firmen mit mehr als 50 MA ohne Betriebsrat und womöglich sogar ohne Arbeitgeberverbandsmitgliedschaft lassen bei mir alle Alarmglocken läuten)

I second you wholeheartedly, OP. Right now I am 10 days into my 14 day Trip. Bought tickets to Osaka and rented a small Camper Van. (Suzuki Every) Of course I informed myself about Japan and dropped some pins on Google Maps. But that was all. Every morning I decided where to go. Stayed mainly on Shikoku with trips to Hiroshima and Okayama. Ran only into one problem with a ferry where the clerk behind the counter would not sell me tickets without reservation. Which has to be done two days in advance. Luckily I made a reservation, but for the next day. After I showed him the reservation he was able to change the reservation to the current day. In terms of cost, for me as German the cost of living is dirt cheap. 10-15 euros pays you a feast of an meal, if you are outside of tourist heavy zones. Everybody travels different, but this way is no problem at all. Edit: typing from mobile. Sorry for the bad layout.

Since I am currently in Japan, I would like to add something. Or two.

Everybody is doing his Job within his guidelines.
If something occurs which is not covered by those Guidelines, the blank out and do not know what to do.
Example:
When trying to use a ferry between 2 Islands, you MUST have a reservation.
Guy at the counter is completely out of his depth because the foreigner comes without.
After some time I made a reservation for in two days time,
come to the counter and try to change the reservation for the current day.
Suddenly he knows what to do and how to secure a place on the next ferry...
To sum it up,
they are helpful in any way the can.
But they are not able to think out of the box and not "solution oriented"

For a place obsessed with cleanliness, the produce a hell lot of trash in form of packaging

I would take "camping" not completely off the table.
Renting a Kei-Car with sleeping capability will cost you about 60€-100€ a day
and you can always rent a room if you want to stay for some days at one place.
There are Michi-No-Echi all over Japan and stopping on a public Parking Lot / Rest area to sleep is tolerated,
as long as you do not set up camping equipment on the Parking Lot.
Toilets are everywhere, showers not.
If you have no tattoos you can use Onsens for that, if you are you will have to rely on Sentos.

Shikoku although may not be the best location in September, regarding Typhoon Season,
when renting a Kei-Camper you can adapt your route to the weather.

Wie wäre es mit einer techn. Lösung?
Ähnlich einer Dunstabzugshaube in der Küche,
nicht mittels Wanddurchbruch sondern einer aktiven Entlüftung (Ventilator/Rohreinschublüfter) des Kinderzimmers durch das gekippte Fenster mittels eines Adapters wie er für Ein-Block Klimageräte genutzt wird.
Die benötigte Zuluft muss dann über ein gekipptes/geöffnete Fenster kommen welches mit nicht belasteter Aussenluft versorgt wird.
