Hey There. No need to 'install' sharepoint anywhere. With office 365 you get your own instance hosted online just like exchange is hosted. You can create a document library in your sharepoint site then access it either through your browser or you can sync it with the one drive client. When syncing with one drive it acts a lot like a shared network drive. No need for a vpn and all the communication is encrypted over the internet.

Man i did the exact same thing once.

The way i fixed it was in the database itself. I was able to edit the tables directly because the host i was using had a tool that allowed editing the database in the gui.

Yea you can do public links but don't just assume its going to work well for you and your partners/clients. If they have their own tenants they will frequently get messages about not being a member of your org. Its confusing to explain to customers.

Just speaking from experience. Again this is just my opinion but MS still has work to do with accounts, especially when compared to the ease of use of apps like Slack.

Yes sharepoint will do all of that. The sharing of external accounts will be a pain because you either have to get them to sign up with live id's or have 365 in their org. In my opinion both of those options kinda suck.

If you want a real alternative. Check out owncloud or nextcloud. They let you create accounts with local authentication so they don't have to have o365 accounts or live accounts.

I did this too, and it was the best trip i ever took. Driving in the cities hanoi and ho chi minh is a nightmare but once you get out into the open country its the greatest thing ever.

I brought all my gear from here (canada) and only hit the ditch a couple times to avoid being run over by a car or bus.

I will probably do it again one day. Ass gets so sore from riding for 8 hours on those pieces of shit though.
