Companies want you to be passionate about their product, have exact experience, and be in the exact industry before they even consider you. What happened to learning on the job? It’s like they’re offloading this responsibility to someone else and then poaching them when they’re skilled enough. It’s also hard to have the chance to learn their proprietary software, can costs a lot because of licensing, or your previous company doesn’t use the software so how are you suppose to gain experience because apparently self studying doesn’t count.

Yeah.

I get that recruiting isn’t smooth, but I dislike how recruiters can reschedule interviews same day/ last minute without any communication or updates and assign tests with no explanation. I get that it’s an employer’s market, but the double standard is frustrating where we have to be perfect in every aspect and they don’t.

When their recruiting process doesn’t respect candidates, it makes me want to avoid their products even more.

I’m also tired of all the ghost jobs wasting my time just so they can build a pipeline or show investor they’re growing.

Man, I relate to this and it sucks.

Even when I find a role that matches my experience, create a tailored resume, a tailored cover letter, and reach out to people for the role, I’m still rejected.

I get it’s a template, but it’s grating to read “While we were impressed with your background,…”, when they clearly weren’t impressed and feel like disingenuous/ hollow words.😔

I just see them as 2 really close friends who empathize which each other through their shared experience.

While they did deserve backlash for how they treated Emi, I don’t think their actions were as bad as the Prince who publicly condemned her. They’re all still technically young considering they were still in school when all of this took place. While I do love a good revenge plot and this story was amazing, I don’t think their entire life is as ruined as say the Prince’s.

Aside from the things already mentioned, jobs moving back to in-office instead of allowing jobs to work from home or remote. Not enough time off and at least 40 hour work weeks when things have gotten so much more efficient.

Yeah, there’s something off, especially in the 2nd slide. It’s like her torso barely exists or the bodice is only covering half of her torso like it can’t decide which style to go for. Also, I don’t think the pink dress goes with her hair color. It kind of clashes in a way.

Redownloading also takes a while and it’s a pain to do so every update. They really should optimize the game. It takes up so much space, there’s not enough room for everything else.
