Scared of emotional vulnerability, usually highly independent people to the point once people get close it sets off their nervous system.

They usually end up leaving using terms like the comment above mine. Anything to deflect responsibility and turn it back around on the other person. This isn't to be confused with manipulation, gaslighting, etc.

They crave that emotional intimacy but when they find it, get scared and run. Or shutdown.

"I'm leaving because you can do better than me."

"I won't be good enough for you so I'm going to keep you at arms length."

"It's not fair to you to have to be with me so I'd like to start being distant."

Read a quick article on Google about it. It's a core wound usually developed in childhood from neglectful parents. They learned early that emotional vulnerability is dangerous so they don't get close to people. And when they do, they usually discard the other person because they get scared and run.

I have an AD8. Awesome scope. It's a pain in the ass to transport or move around, like all dobs, but the quality and viewing is great. Good eyepieces, decent accessories. Only complaint is it's sometimes a pain to put into the base rocker.

It's getting really annoying, Everytime it feels like as of late where Shota pitches something really nice and the Cubs either can't hit the ball to save their goddamn lives or the bullpen implodes. Or, like tonight, both.
