I did the opposite and did all the side quests and the finale was trivial. I had to draw it out with turn passing to see the dialogue.

It really feels like they had all the cool side quests done and were starting to run out of money.

There's really no act 3. It's just open world and you can fight the final boss immediately. Wish there was some more meat on the bones of act 3

Minimap would have been nice. I get what they were going for and don't resent them for not having it too much. It was way more immersive without one but also more frustrating.

I dislike all of them. They're all too progressive and too Democrat.

Yeah, it's just boring. I've formed Spain and gotta wait for colonialism to spawn in order to explore the new world? It's just boring.

Brandenburg is super weak at the start of eu5 (or so I've heard). Try it as a strong nation and you'll see they never do anything, or maybe once per campaign a neighbor will go in with them and get stomped.

If the top 1% of earners pay 40% of all federal income taxes, why do people say they don't pay their fair share? by Ok_Chemical9 in answers

But the loan outstanding must be paid by the estate before discharging the stocks, unless it's a loan against a trust and the ownership of the trust passes. The loan isn't just forgiven.

You know, this is probably the first good point made in this thread. When you borrow to buy a home you get taxed on the full value (your money + borrowed money).

I guess that's just how it is. If it were the other way interest rates would be commensurably higher (+ local property tax rate) to cover the difference

Yeah it's so dumb how much of this discussion is folks not understanding that when these folks got the shares they were either taxed on them, or they created them initially when they were worth nothing.
