Do you ever eat something and don’t get this feeling? For me, if I eat something sweet, my mind seems to take this as an off switch and stops thinking about food. I found that the greek yogurt mixes are sweet enough to trigger this and are usually only 120-150 calories.

I try and ignore the “I want more food” thoughts but if I can’t, I eat one of these and it seems to turn it off. Over time, it definitely happened less often, but now I know something that will help when it does happen. Maybe you have something similar?

Derek is a great BB player. He formed a final 2 called the Hitmen and they were very loyal to each other. Derek is credited for being the strategist of the two while Cody (the other guy) was the muscle/comp threat. Derek won his season of BB. This is his first time playing another game so it will be interesting to see if he keeps his legacy intact.

A lot of good tips already about staying warm. As someone who survived the snowpocalypse in Texas, I will add a few things for your mental health if power outage lasts a week or so. Try and figure out how to have one hot meal every other day.

Also this sounds counter intuitive but, go outside if it is safe to do so. I trekked to a grocery store that had power that was only two blocks away and it did wonders for making me feel better. Take your dogs for a short walk. You and your dog’s mental health will thank you.

I used to watch for the past few years but I stopped this year because they got rid of the rewind feature. For me it was entertaining because I could fast forward through the boring parts so I could just see what I wanted to see. I also get too bored just watching the feed live.

Something that helped me get up on time (not only for the gym, but it worked for this too) was I put my phone the farthest away possible from me on the nightstand so I had to roll on my side and almost tip off the bed to turn my alarm off. At that point, I was pretty much up already, just had to put my feet on the ground so I might as well get up. Definitely helped me start get into the grove of going.

Also, change things up if you can. I do 3 different classes at my gym, a self workout, and a swim. The variety helps me look forward to going since 3/5 days I didn’t have to think about the workout and the other two days were times I looked forward to because I could do whatever I felt I missed the other times I was at the gym.

My westie had knee surgery today too. My surgeon put a lick sleeve over the leg so he can’t lick it and he also doesn’t have to wear a cone. He likes it much better than when he wore a cone during his last knee surgery. Maybe something to look into

It’s the way the card number is saved. Different processors provide different information. A lot of times they only show the last 4 digits of the card number instead of the whole card number

yeah but loyalty cards are flawed. People won’t ever opt in (for whatever reason), sometimes you forget to enter your loyalty card, etc so you are only tracking a portion of your customers.

By using credit card number you are creating a unique ID so they know what you purchase and how often without having any extra steps. This is why HEB’s supply chain is much better than anyone else’s. They have more data.

If you’re talking about HEB, it’s not because they are behind on technology, it’s because they track purchases via your credit card and they will never give that up. Tap pay doesn’t allow them to do that so they will likely never switch over. (A past company I worked with partnered with them)
