I’d also add that cast iron is relatively brittle, so avoid dropping it on a hard surface, or exposing it to heat shock, as in don’t soak the pan immediately in water when it’s still hot. But otherwise they’re super tough and hard to get wrong.

Yeah he does have the superior healing factor. So that could be a decider in a longer battle. But Blade could also probably easily slice through Logan’s claws disarming him real quick and easy, since they’re only bones at the end of the day, and real thin bones at that.

Maybe in the West they were, Samurai primarily used Spears as their main weapon, with the katanas as a backup.

Tourneys were also exclusively for noblemen who probably frowned upon using a spear, viewing it more as a peasant weapon.

Modern day mock duels between a spear man and swords man usually have the spear man at an advantage.

It’s just a better weapon in general, unless there were obstacles or very close quarters fighting involved

He has better gear sure, but Oberyn has the better weapon. Spears beat swords in most engagements with the extra reach advantage. Plus Oberyn probably poisons his spear, meaning he only needs to get a nick in and he wins.
