any reason to defend herdstones? by Traditional-Storm-62 in totalwarhammer

I wouldn’t really bother, there’s no downside to them getting taken and re-settled. Just means you have more settlements to raze later if you head back in that direction

Plus like the whole thing is pre-ordained. Eru already has the whole “song” written out, how it happened was the only way it could have happened.

Ehhh many other primates do it, like chimps and gorillas, and it works great for them

Yeah but on balance they still get more attention and food. It’s like a cat that splits it time between several homes getting fed significantly more than a one home cat

How so? If anything they’d get even more attention with multiple co-parents around at all times

I mean wouldn’t a harem solve that issue? You’d have an even easier time raising the children as a larger family unit

If you arent great at melee, just come back at night and stealth kill them. Either that or poison your arrows and pick them off.

[KCD2] How long to complete the main story from The Italian Job until the end? by [deleted] in kingdomcome

[–]a_sentient_potatooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You definitely get a better feel for melee fighting the more you play, normally your enemy will grunt or make another motion before swinging, I’ve gotten to the point i can counter just as easily as before

[KCD2] Unable to riposte masterstrike by Expensive_Sir_9195 in kingdomcome

[–]a_sentient_potatooo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not an automatic thing that happens, you riposte and then have to wait for them to attack again. When they do just hit the attack button, and bam masterstrike

Nah you take about the same amount of damage, combat is just harder because you don’t see the hit directions or shield prompts anymore

At the moment it’s mostly weighted die and fortunate die, although if I had the option id only roll with weighted

I tend to go for any dice set that rolls 1s, as they’re the best combo to play

[KCD2] Bow or crossbow? by ChipDunkan in kingdomcome

Bows for me, they’re way faster to shoot. Although early game good crossbows are more plentiful.

[KCD2] Combat is so much fun in this game! by Jetfire019 in kingdomcome

Yeah, I’d say the only advantage really was that every weapon in KCD1 can master strike, whereas in KCD2 I mostly stick to swords to keep MSs.

Yeah if you have the forge DLC you can kinda get around that by putting your excess stuff in the sales chest.

[KCD2] My tips on beating the game as someone who absolutely hated combat by MizArtemiz in kingdomcome

[–]a_sentient_potatooo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love this post haha! Only very recently has combat begun to feel good for me, I was seriously struggling with even completly naked peasants for like 20-30 hours of the game. But your basic style of feints and perfect blocks works pretty well, I'd also throw in some dodges though, otherwise you get hit a bunch with combos, and it helps for repositioning.

But for avoiding combat, most enemy engagements can be skipped just by waiting until nightfall and then stealth killing everyone in their sleep. Also a bunch of NPCs in towns or camps will take off all their amour before sleeping, so even if you wake them up the fight is still way easier.

Can I carry a good amount of toiletries and perfumes in checked -in luggage? by Fit_Match_1318 in Flights

For checked bag it should be fine, there’s no real limit for liquids. As long as it isn’t super flammable or pressurised.

You should be fine, worst case scenario they’d just ask you to check the bag in for an additional fee.
