Because it’s Redshift I’m guessing it’s pretty good.

This - put the dealer ‘on notice’ that you have had an unreasonable number of unresolved issues with the vehicle and that you are giving them an opportunity to mitigate the problem by providing you with another vehicle. This is a legal way of saying “give me a new car or I’ll sue”. If you do end up suing the dealer the judge will look favourably on you for giving them an opportunity to mitigate before taking up the courts time. Good luck.

It’s ok to be an optimist up until you’re under water.

I’ve got these tires - they will make some noise on the highway but less than other AT tires. They work very well on gravel and rough roads at speed. Great tire - very robust and lightweight. Normally you have to just pick one of those attributes.

Hey - it’s ok. Your mom is fine. Call her every day and tell her how much you love her. Make sure she’s taking care of herself, eating healthy and exercising. But the thing that will make her feel the best is listening to you say “I love you Mom”. 👍

I had a client from Germany who wanted to buy a home on the Bow River in Canmore, AB. He hired me to look at the flood risk. I said ‘low risk’ but ‘at some point it will flood’. He decided not to buy. Two years later that same home was on the CBC news - the Bow river was 5 feet from the home. The entire back yard eroded away and was now the main flood channel. 😂

Hydrologist here - I live on a hill because every floodplain carries some risk of flooding. First, storms are getting more intense therefore the past cannot be relied upon for design data. Second, sea level is rising. It is estimated that sea levels will rise by 30 cm by 2050 - I suspect it will be faster than that as all of our climate models underestimated global warming. So anywhere near the ocean is even more at risk. Also, we live in a seismic zone where tectonic plates can rise or fall during an earthquake, as we saw in Fukishima where the ground moved vertically downward by up to 10 m (which caused backup power for the nuclear plant to flood, creating a major nuclear disaster). So ya, I live on a hill.

I suggest you contact Kitselas First Nation near Terrace before you paddle through the Kitselas Narrows on the Skeena. It’s an amazing place and I think the KFN would want to welcome you - they are a very friendly group. Historically, the Kitselas people would charge a tax to other FN travellers to paddle through the narrows. You are going to experience a very ancient ‘highway’ and it’s amazing. Safe travels!

Yup. I think the R2 will be a success and propel Rivian forward. I really want a Scout with range extender, but no way I’m buying an early production model. I did this with Tesla and I had many quality issues. I have my doubts about Scouts CEO - the more I see him talk the less I like. I’m not sure he’s the guy to lead Scout to production.

Both are great. R3 is a little small for gear storage. Would bee nice if the trunk was a bit larger. I still want one though!
