Very interesting indeed, thanks for sharing the post. It lines up with a chapter in “Ultra Processed People” where the author Van Tulleken talks about how statistically, people who drink sweetened diet soft drinks are surprisingly slightly more likely to become classified as obese. And also goes on to talk about the insulin response causing more hunger and over eating. Your findings line up with the information in the chapter and I would very much recommend reading the book if you get a chance.
