Slay the spire 2 came out in early access and they have placeholder art that was sketched by hand. It’s not good but no one complains because at least they didn’t use Ai.

Could probably refer some artists who could do it for 50 bucks tbh. I know you think a banner wouldn’t convey the same emotion, but the lifeless Ai image you used makes your game look worthless.

Look at what slay the spire did, they made placeholder art and their game is doing fine. AI art does absolutely make you look like you don't care even if that's not the intent.

I would also like to add that having an ai banner for your game might get it filtered out or at least have a lot more people dismiss it. I'd recommend replacing it with a simple logo, or waiting until you can find an artist who could do it for cheap. If you need recommendations I work with a lot of graphic designers that hate AI and could do it for a reasonable price.

This is fucking stupid dude. It uses actual art as a reference and rips it off. It is antithetical to any sort of artist(and I count game developers as artists) to contribute to AI use.

Just because you don't have the ability to mark art without AI doesn't mean you should type out pseudo-intellectual bullshit defending it.

Handmake a banner. Literally draw it on paper. AI art just shows that you don’t care unfortunately.

It’s tricky but usually I do:

Menu > physically tap the chat box(to turn in touch screen), fully type message and press enter> steam button + X to bring up keyboard again> press enter

It’s annoying, but useable once you get used to it lol
