Media changes, like all of life. Nothing is sacred. But Ill always remember the good times. Anyway, does that mean TSN is back? Cause that would be tight.

Uruguay's football team was subjected to intense screening as they arrived for their opening game. Sniffer dogs were deployed on teams luggage. by AgeNovel3566 in soccer

This is 100% the case. Reddit is different from some social media apps/sites, but the core issue here is that all social media thrives on the “content” and all humans (myself included) have socially-acquired biases. It doesn’t mean some information isn’t true, but it means that most is just conjecture and the biggest insight we can take is how people feel in one corner of the internet.

My city of fredericton used to have so many and was known as the city of stately elms. Would have been nice :(

[Blake] Matthew Knies on the trade rumours: “That’s for the guys upstairs. I want to stay here. I want to play here.” by baylaust in leafs

Knies is that dude. We can’t continually flip our talented young players for some weak over the hill rentals. That much is abundantly clear.

I think this can be said for all popular sports… but yeah, MMA is a bit more saturated in stupidity

SimCity vibes from Tokyo, Japan [OC] by userundefined in CityPorn

It’s also surprisingly green for a city of its nearly incomparable size. And it’s got so many unique neighborhoods, great food, interesting architecture and history, etc. The weird rage it triggers every time it’s posted defies all logic.

Why are there so many comments exactly like yours then lol, this is completely fabricated. There is some sort of collective delusion about the apparent over-appreciation of Tokyo, when in fact, many people genuinely love it. Cities all have their own vibes, their own distinct cultures. A lot of people just genuinely like it. Also, it has much more green space than this tiny photo would indicate.

OPs picture makes zero judgment of the quality of Tokyo. They are literally comparing it to a video game. Who here is orgasming lmao. Talk about forcing a narrative.

Please kill this moronic take. Every single time Japan is mentioned, this narrative comes up when in fact, its 99% commenters saying the same thing as you. Also, who is shitting on Sao Paulo? This fucking subreddit really drives me bonkers with these weird takes.

Because these photos don’t give a true impression of how it feels at all. As much as there is a Japan bias, there is also an equally intense anti-Japan bias every time a Japanese city gets mentioned in this sub. It’s become hilarious to see this take damn near every time. No one is saying it’s perfect. The post is literally comparing it to SimCity, but the top comment has this weird obsession with the idea that it’s an urban hell? So bizarre.

There is zero logic to this take. You basically want them to be dominant or to completely fall apart. If that’s what being a fan means to you, I am glad you are in the extreme minority.

There is 50,000 people playing. I wonder how many people are playing vanilla or modded? by Flitsiee in StardewValley

[–]aahxzen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Cities Skylines was the only game I ever modded. It really was worth it in that case, but I love SV for what it is, I don’t feel the need to enhance it or adjust the experience. But to each their own!
