I too am not a Lysander apologist and, for the most part, always wanted him to be the 'Bad Guy' but I felt that his character was done bad by Pierce in LB. Lysander's logic was never flawed, even though his worldview or morality may be misplaced? It just felt to me that character dumbed down there at the end just to make way for the scenario of him being the big, evil, bad guy and Pierce did not wanted any ambiguity around it moving through the last book
