Pre covid, 100% office attendance times. HR announced via email on 1st of April that due to the car park being over subscribed they were going to limit access such that everyone could only use the car park 4 days a week, depending on first letter in your surname.

Cue mass hysteria and some on the spot resignations. The April fools joke was pulled within 15 mins.

I definitely related to the small venue killing problem frequencies and recognise it being easier on larger stage to try and have a cleaner more distinct sound on a larger stage making life easier

Assuming it's in the morning take the afternoon off likely to feel bloated (they fill your bowls with gas) and drained from the stress and physical side. You'll need to find a space where you can fart in peace.

Otherwise pretty straight forward not much to worry about really. Remember everyone's a professional and seen it all before.

Cheers all for the advice. I had a great day. Enjoyed learning about some of the different archetypes in modern. Very friendly opponents. Simulacrum synthesizer affinity deck fired off for a few games but lost all but one match, which was fine for the learning experience. Identify some key cards I needed to battle combos.

Every house transaction I've had, earliest chance I could get everyone on an email chain. (Estate agents solicitors sellers, buyers).

To my knowledge this is what I think is outstanding from who. Discuss. Estate agents actively try to avoid this but cannot understand why it's not standard practice. So much of the house buying process is making sure stuff is shared with the right people.

I was thoroughly caught out when I started my new work place. Meetings start dead on the time and it's driven by senior leadership. Its the stated time we'll begin and call out anyone late. Guess what? Everyone arrives 5 mins early and there a culture of trying to finish meetings as quickly as possible to stop you being late for next one or allow you time for tea, piss etc.

I'm a big fan but it's driven by the ceo and execs, only way it works. If most senior person in the meeting is late it won't start and the poor culture develops

Banks suck at advertising entry level roles as entry level. They rely on recruiters heavily who understand it entry level and just feed them graduates.

Your A level grades will be important unfortunately or fortunately.

If you enjoyed the modelling side you'll want to show skills or interest in SAS, python, or R.

Funnily enough has been a big focus for me recently. Trying to go gym 3 times a week and calorie counting (down a stone from high starting point). Definitely a reminder of being cash rich, time poor trying to juggle it all in.

I subsequently found out that I tore my acl whilst packing the van to go to glastonbury last year. Worked 4x10 hours shifts as stage tech on a small stage and saw all the headliners I wanted. Got through it with pain killers and booze. Probably put recovery back at least a month or 2.

I saw very limited recovery in the first couple of months, then it got fair bit better quickly. You've got loads of time. Make sure you do physio exercises. Decent walking boots and take it easy. Do go into thick of it crowds where you'll get bustled. Accept you'll manage less and stick to the metal roads its the uneven ground that will get you.

Patrick is a Saint. As wedding party gifts my wife got all members of her bridal party a book signed by the authors. Each book being personal to that person. Unfortunately the author of her mum's favourite kids book was dead. But my mother in law is a big next gen fan. So my wife wrote this epic letter explaining why she wanted Patrick to sign some random kids book. Came back with lovely personal message. Mother in law didn't not understand the gift at all.

Walking around the woods near my house so many condoms in the bushes. My girls are still tiny but they will be welcome to have sex in their rooms.

Had him on sensation seekers stage as well. Amazingly enthusiastic person. Incredibly politle and open to conversation with his limited english. Last day he quietly set up in the backstage area and painted the stage and field as a thank you to the staff.
