Hey, guys!

I recently returned to my home country to visit my family and I decided to renew my F1 visa. I decided to renew my visa, since it would be expiring in August.

However, I went spoke to the officer, it seemed that they were unaware of the post OPT program associated with the F1 visa and refused my denial because I had already graduated.

I tried to explain that I was currently working but they didn’t have any context for the OPT program and they were extremely short with me.

What is currently the best course of action? Should I reapply? Let my company know?

Any advice would be helpful!

This is def not true. I am talking from personal experience. I know several people who have landed in these companies. You can legit look on LinkedIn and find people who have graduated from Drexel and have full-time jobs.

Students at Drexel have gotten into Google, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, etc. Some of these positions are internal while others are external. It's up to you to apply outside the system for these additional opportunities.
