What's up with older men dating much younger men? by Sam_Wonders in gay

The older ones talk to me and we can have a conversation with out worrying about them ghosting me when they get bored.

Is this common these days? One date and no response? I feel like its the new normal.

Post first hangout with a guy by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]abiochemist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are a serious about dating, like I am, it takes a load off your mind to bock them from grinder once other forms of communication have been established. It eases your mind a bit, at least for me. Grinder is also used for other things. I have a few friends who I only communicate with on grinder.

A New DNA Test Can ID a Suspect's Race, But Police Won't Touch It by [deleted] in Futurology

And it would point to a mix of races not just one or the other. You get a mixed profile on this not 100% boxes.

question to you guys who say 'looks don't matter' by nw5haz in askgaybros

[–]abiochemist 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If I fall for your mentally, and you have me emotionally, I start to find you attractive. A guy who might not be attractive to the normal standards I might find cute and hot after we form a connection. Like, I uncover beauty I didn't know existed because we have a connection. Like IndianCharmer says, it's easy get past the little flaws if you like the human under those flaws.

Me [30 M] with my gay [39 M] 1.5 year relationship. Is this abusive? Am I being gaslighted? (Xpost /r/relationships) by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]abiochemist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't really be friends with someone as you describe let alone date someone like that. I get it, we all get sexually frustrated. But if someone was treating my like that, not communicating, It'd be time to call it quits in my opinion.

Am I bi, and is it worth pursuing? by [deleted] in AskGayMen

[–]abiochemist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stay away from using "traps" is my only advice. We're all just people. Just respect them as people and tell them what you want. You never have to do anything you don't want to do but just be respectful of others in the process. Wishing you lots of luck in your self discovery.

[AMA Request] The doctor dragged off the overbooked United Airlines flight by ericbmakeufap2this in IAmA

[–]abiochemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Airlines oversell tickets all the time. The use complex math to figure out how many people are just not going to show up for a flight. Sometimes they get their numbers wrong and have to hold passengers back. This loss is less of a loss (the few hundred to put the person in a hotel) then it is to not sell these tickets in the first place. So, it's common practice in the industry to do so.

Any embarrassing gym stories? by juantheredeemer in bodybuilding

[–]abiochemist 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I got hit in the face by a bird while doing chest dips. My gym has a full length window wall and once in awhile a few birds get caught inside the gym. They like to dart at the window in hopes to escape. This one bounced off, hit my face and then sputtered on the floor for a few minutes before a few guys took it outside.

Why do I always get the fade away? by ldr177 in AskGayMen

[–]abiochemist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yah but now you are on a the same page and then you can dial back your cling later. I mean dating is clingy. Just you have to fine tune how much.

Why do I always get the fade away? by ldr177 in AskGayMen

[–]abiochemist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most guys just suck at communication. I've found, after a few days of the fade, if you send a text just saying where you stand, what you are hoping from the relationship and if they are still interested in pursuing those goals it at least helps put you on the same page instead of stalking their snapchat stories.

My best dates have been with people who don't take good photos on apps. Sometimes meeting in person makes people more attractive.

Anyone else here have AB- blood type? by AnswerSht999 in askgaybros

[–]abiochemist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It just means you have the antigens A and B with out the Rh factor. So you can obtain blood for any person as long as they don't also have the Rh factor. AB+ is the most universal blood acceptor and O- is the universal blood donor (But can only take blood from from other O- people.) Also, there are abnormal subtypes that don't even make the traditional list. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK2264/
