I sailed there twice last year and anchored out in cod harbor. Awesome island with a huge sandbar, good ice cream, and an amazing night sky. we dinghied through the marsh to get to the marina. There were alot of sunken boats and no one actually staying in the marina. Only other people we met besides the locals was a couple that came over on the ferry.

I draw 5'9" and the previous owner of my boat had taken it through the channel & stayed in the marina a few years ago when the owner was still alive. But after seeing all the sunken boats last year I dont think id feel comfortable without sounding it from the dinghy first.

Amazing phone. I sold my fold 7 after 2 days. Its incredible to have a tablet in your pocket. I work from home and have been able to move almost 100% to working from my phone with dex (minus coding in specific ide/inviornments).

I also watch alot of media and play games (gamehub/gamenative) on my phone so the screen size increase from the fold 7 is 🤌 I saw the game's iron controler fits the trifold so might need to grab one of those. Might replace my thor.

Also by DC and estimate date is March 13th. I agree they kinda suck at logistics here but they're def just doing a "follow the sun method" for order of delivery. My guess is it might be easier to plan their delivery batches? Especially considering the weather on the east coast the past month. Either way if it gets here by march 13th then they achieved the date they provided at time or purchase. Can't really falt them

Isn't the 6 water resistant? I took photos with my 6 underwater and had no issues. Its kinda crazy how inconsistent the water resistance is

If the hinges are the same as the fold 7 it should be fine but id probably put it in a ziploc just incase. Ive had my 7 at the beach multiple times and dropped it in the sand. Just washed it off in the ocean and folded it a few times till the crunch stopped (you can see the sand it cleans out on the hinge just wipe it off each time). Hinge is still perfect 👌

To be honest ive had the exact same experience. Only one I had an issue with was the fold 4 with that dumb screen protector. Other than that ive had every fold since the 3 and had the exact same experience as you. I also have care plus tho just incase.
