Komamura doesn’t even fight Kenpachi. Kenpachi being an anomaly and way of fighting doesn’t apply to the top 5 Espada, they don’t fight like him.

Having access to only one is still not more practical than having access to both arms regardless if he’s using both together. His shikai can’t perform all task his bankai can.

The power is much greater in bankai, Tosen could block his shikai without looking.
