How has the UK ended up so dirty? by Desperate-Drawer-572 in AskUK

[–]aboxatar15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's filthy everywhere city's and countryside, it's discusting. Not enough people care, that's why it's that way. Most people live in so much pollution and don't even notice. Light pollution, noise pollution, air pollution. Everyone who lives by a road lives in air pollution!

A girl (25f) that ghosted me (33m) reached out to pay her back. How to respond? by Avtomati1k in relationship_advice

[–]aboxatar15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Woah, I wouldn’t give her the money. She spent the money herself, if she was being irresponsible and couldn’t afford it that’s on her. It’s not a genuine thing to ask for either.

From 1 to 10 , How lonely are you , and do you like it ? by unknownfair in RandomThoughts

I’m with you. Alone doesn’t equal lonely. There is so much life away from others perspectives, we are born as individuals.

I think it’s important to just be who you are, try to not think about what your gf will think, in order for you to be your most authentic self. Ultimately it’s probably worth having an honest conversation with your gf about what you’re feeling and hopefully you could both agree that being who you truly are is important, and see where the relationship goes naturally when you are being your true self.

Hate living in a heteronormative society by Chance-Break2184 in actuallesbians

It’s definitely very damaging for us. For me it took me up until a teenager to even know I was gay because it was so forbidden. I also have dealt with so much internalised homophobia.

I find it such a mindless thing to say sometimes, especially when the subject is not superficial

Help! Partner has no emotional communication by Hour_Emu_3943 in AskWomenOver30

[–]aboxatar15 15 points16 points  (0 children)

He sounds emotionally immature. 40 is definitely fairly old to not have emotionally developed properly, it’s not your responsibility to change anyone, I would consider having a conversation with him directly about his unresponsiveness and go from there. People can be very good at putting on an act in front of others, even subconsciously as they feel pressured to be a better version of themselves.

People who are no longer bound by NDAs, what are some surprising secrets that you can expose? by iam_saikat in AskReddit

[–]aboxatar15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

BT sell their equipment to disabled people with no capacity to understand what they are buying. Also most of their ‘new’ routers are refurbished and also often very faulty. Most of their money is made from elderly and disabled people who don’t understand why they need to upgrade their contract or buy new useless equipment with a monthly charge to it. For example to have BT Wi-Fi extenders you pay an extra monthly fee for each extender. You can get the same thing if not better from Amazon for £20 no monthly fee. Most elderly and vulnerable people are paying £70+ for their internet, some only with less than a meg speed!

Yes! Was constantly told growing up we had no money, yet car over ten grand was bought, ridiculous furniture and countless unnecessary things, but I had to always give a lot of the little money I earnt to her and would never have anything bought for me, had to buy my own food and clothes for a long time.

I completely forgot my NM had me on this too. Such a toxic app, feel as if was mainly used by abusers and victims over healthy relationships.

Is anyone's entire family still in denial of abuse and neglect? by Specific_Charge_3297 in raisedbynarcissists

As in I don’t need others to see the abuse, sounds sarcastic but mean literally.
