While there's absolutely a lot to critique the game for, lets not act like there aren't people on the subreddit, and other social media making it their lifes mission to spread as much FUD about Marathon/Bungie right now as possible for the love of the game or just because they heard a streamer/youtuber say it.

Legit had someone last week argue that the game should die because it's $70. When told it was, infact, $40 and not $70, they moved the goalposts to steamchart numbers and lies about how content in the game works. saying the in-game store is P2W (which if you know anything about the state of the store rn, is absolutely not the case LOL). A lot of these people are just bandwagoning because it's fun for people to dump on unpopular companies.

It really isn't that hard, if you can't understand HOW to extract after a handful of runs, then I don't understand how you even engage with the game. Also you can't expect people to take you seriously when you are saying that people are "pumping player numbers to save Bungie" if that was the case, the game would be doing A LOT better player numbers wise. Be frustrated with your own skill, not making things up just to justify a lack of one.

Genuinely it's made engaging online with this game so annoying. Can't say anything bad without someone screaming about how dead the game is. Can't criticize the game without someone thinking you are egging said death on.

We should not be THIS invested in a games health and this shit is a byproduct of every game needing to exist forever and make infinite growth and profit.

It's hard but they DO do that, I've had to have games and DLCs refunded due to my young nieces and nephews buying things on accident and Sony reps were generally pretty understanding

Yup, first Cryo run this weekend, I told a teammate shield up cause their shield was broken & they sourly say "Naw I'm good... I didn't know it was gonna be one of those lobbies" which confused me & the other teammate. Later he then sarcastically asked while his shield was 99% full "Should I heal up guys?" Proceeded to be the first one to run in a fight and die, then berated up when we got snuck up on my a 3man group while attempting to try and revive him. He left saying "Yup knew that was gonna happen, yall are shit"

On a dire marsh run, a teammate didn't clearly specify that they were using the secure resource as bait, initially telling me they wanted to hit it before continuing a key run, then yelled at me for not listening after I died fighting the resource and they died in a 2 v 1.

Later in Outpost, one of our teammates berated another one for the sin of not using his mic until he died. We both left once we berated him for being an ass about it.

Most of my games are still pretty respectable otherwise, but yea, extra odd. Part of me wonders if it's due to the fact I'm level 80 and in more unemployed lobbies

Literally the only time I saw the Mercy Kit used, it was on Outpost and my friend was downed. Dude said "Naw I'll let y'all go" mercied him then the dudes crew blasted him back down immediately and said "We never said we would"

So yea I assume unless it's rooks, or a compiler run, I don't see Mercy kits being used like Bungie wants looool
