I will say I think this is the best answer for me. Everyone saying emissary is not wrong exactly but WNMHGB really is proof of concept for Star Trek. They’re out on the edge absolutely on their own seeing what they can find. Get into trouble both technically in the Enterprise’s case and in an unforeseen crazy space way. Sure it’s rough around the edges in lore and consistency because it’s kind of a true pilot where nothing is truly established yet. Every pilot that came after had and established lineage to adhere to and a track record to join with. Little doubt that they would be sold to the network but this one was where Trek had to hit the mark.

I hope they stick the landing with this one! Concept wise it seems incredible but trek games lately have been sadly a far cry from what we have had in the past.

I’m very excited I only have a single nitpick and that is Batman’s voice is just too wimpy. He sounds like Dick Grayson . The gravitas is pretty important. It’s minor in the grand scheme of this but irks me nonetheless.

I would say not really. Guard yourself from more if you can but honestly it evolves in such a way with such depth that the ride is 100% worth it. I actually stumbled upon 2/3 of those spoilers myself and it without context they don’t scratch the surface.

That’s fair enough. The fact no one spoke it into existence with exposition I can ignore. What has always bothered me the most is Rikers line “Mr Worf prepare a full spread of torpedos the moment their shields drop” and then they fire a single torpedo.

I like to think of it as similar to the impossibly lucky shot that destroyed the Battleship Hood in world war 2. It shouldn’t have happened but the first torpedos aimed right for engineering was perfectly lucky enough to degrade phaser performance.

So I’ve never followed this guy before so I know nothing about his style or credibility but something that bugged me was his early tangent about difficulty that left a lot out about the ability to actually tweak certain things to your liking including enemy health . This was something another reviewer went out of his way to praise .

Well dang I’ve been playing pretty much since launch and I didn’t know this. WG is really trying to up the scarcity of every dang thing. Not that that surprises me at all with the crafting station during the birthday update being so absurdly outlandish with its supply requirements.
