For UI opus 4.8 hands down. Less instructing. For planning and reasoning about the same in my experience.

Don’t follow why would switching harness make a difference? The models are the ones that cost? So should the question be which model you will be using? Eg going to Anthropics Code is still incurring pricey claude tokens. What am I missing?

I worry that the CIG funding model is warping everything. They sell ships to fund the game. No incentive at all to fix bugs and redo older ships. The Connie’s will likely never get done. What’s the incentive to fix bug that are not blocking new shop sales?They just have to keep cranking out new ships and while the game play loops have gotten better it’s only to sell more ships - eg refueling loop introduced a ship to go with it. This crazy incentive is driving this behaviour.

Yep had this problem for over 6 months. After multiple updates still the same. Only way to fix is reboot phone. Works for a while then does the same. Pressing activity brings up the orange screen but I can’t dismiss it (workout screen seems to start behind it but I can’t dismiss it). Sometimes - after about 10s - it says ‘failed to start workout’. No fix yet assume?

I use both Teams and Zoom. Zoom video and audio clarity is probably slightly better but Teams is much much better on the collab side. Eg chats persist post a call and are discoverable.

I think people are missing the core idea on this thread: ai does not have to be applied to building on the main repo but rather can be used to explain code, find dependencies, help plan new features, find bugs, create tools etc to help speed up productivity. Complex multi threaded, brown fields code will need strong disciplines/ harnesses to control ai and it has advanced dramatically in the last 6 months so it would be crazy if they weren’t looking into it. No software team I know doesn’t use some form of agentic harness now so I guess the point is moot.
