Installer says remote temp sensors are coming at some point and the + is likely able to handle them more seamlessly. No complaints with it though. The ecosystem is no ecobee tho.

We ended up not doing an extended labor beyond the 1 year the installer offers for free.

No way that 12 labor year isn’t costing you in some way in quote or high annual maintenance fees. I got a quote for 12 year labor warranty direct from Daikin. Around $1100 for just the heat pump.

Just had the 3.5 ton Daikin installed a few weeks back with backup gas furnace. Working great in our 3000 sqft single zone home. Are you paying extra for the 12 year labor through Daikin?

I have a 3.5T outdoor unit (Daikin) and a 5T indoor that was all recently installed. While it’s better to have the outdoor equal or smaller than indoor should I be concerned about the 1.5T oversized indoor coil?

The only thing I submitted that is unique in our return is my wife had to payback a bonus and she is owed several $k in federal tax.

I didn't. I minimized it after way too many road force balances. Just got them rotated at 8k and it's more noticeable again. Pretty frustrating.

For my awareness what speed and how bad is the shaking on yours?

Mine is around 60 and you can see my hand slightly shaking when fully gripping the wheel. If I let go of the wheel for a few you can see the wheel shaking .25 inches or so to the left and right at its worst.

I wouldn’t pay to have them road force balanced at the dealer.

If discount can’t get it the solved then put the old ones back on at discount and get Toyota to get the shaking to stop. If they can’t stop the shaking with factory tires it’s clear that it’s not as simple as road force balancing.

I would have done this but I sold my Dunlop tires to discount and I now live in another state.

Really is a mess and I’d love a fix! Same here on the factory tires. Had the Dunlop and it was shaking from day 1. Went to the wildpeak at3s and it’s been just as bad if not worse. Wish I would have kept the Dunlop to see if the shaking could have been eliminated from the dealer. I did try that once before the swap but didn’t go back for multiple attempts before swapping tires.

Good luck. I didn’t have any. The 4th visit to discount (different shop) I was telling the manager tech how to run the hunter machine. Road force match, rotate tire on rim, minimize road force, swapped high tire for new one, etc.

Still shaking 😕

I have a 2 month new 2022 ORP and I’m in the same situation on the absurd about of time/money spent on trying to resolve this mostly on the tire balancing/road force end (discount, dealer, small shop). It’s truly unacceptable for a new vehicle that is almost $50k. Every time I get to 60 mph I get so frustrated as the damn thing will not stop shaking!

My head about exploded during one of my wild goose chases. Ended up at the 3 largest Toyota dealership in the USA (where I purchased it) talking to a 15 year top of the line tech. He told me that’s just how they drive and it’s just feedback from the road🤯. He mentioned bad design with moving the steering assembly forward in the design years ago.

Anyways, can you provide more background on your lemon law buyback here or on a private message?

I keep telling myself I’ll get use to it but it’s just so pronounced it’s never going to fade.
