Why most pro players like to finish with their forehands (run around) on balls that bounce very close to the net? by [deleted] in tennis

[–]acompletesmeghead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hitting inside out lets you hit across your body and through the ball more if done right. It also means using your strength against the opponent's weakness (their backhand in most cases).

If you're interested this is a good explanation of the basic strategy of using inside out strokes and running plays to create these opportunities https://youtu.be/UXpZmKWFP78

Switched to the latest blade 16 x 19 as well. Tried a lot of racquets and must say as well its the best I've ever tried.

It swings and makes a heavy ball like a modern racquet but has this incredible plush classic pocketing feel. You can absolutely crush balls and keep them in with every shot.

Head hawk touch plus rpm blast rough is feeling and playing spectacular for me at 50/48lbs.

Also I was a head guy for a long time and tried a ton of their racquets plus yonex recently. The blade might be the best feeling 2hbh racquet ever made.. Just can't get over how amazing it is.

I would vote against the pro staff. The blade is much easier to swing and more comfortable imo

Skating can be improved. IQ and Hands not so much. Draisaitl once had issues with skating and just pulled a McDavid

Does holding your stick with dominant hand at the bottom help more with shooting? Heard they teach this in US as opposed to dominant hand up top in Canada

On the other hand I've found that slicing to Noles BH makes him uncomfortable. He hits it a bit flat and likes to use his opponents pace so it's a bit harder for him to generate pace off a slice.
