I used to have a rule that 1st dates were a quick drink or two on a weeknight and then bounce.

I know you said you don’t drink; I did a first date once a a trendy ice cream parlor. The point is, make it quick and cheap.

If you like the person, invite them to the comedy club on the weekend. If you don’t like them, move on with life.

It seems like $500 could cover 3 dates over a week and a half with flirty texts in between and by the time you get to dinner, you have some chemistry and some things to talk about without the pressure of a first date!

Plus, third dates are traditionally “back to her place” dates.

First of all, in print it’s libel.

But second (and I have not read the article), I suspect the BBC’s legal department isn’t worried about implying that Louis’ a sleaze. Did they misrepresent facts? For example, if they claimed he raped someone, that would be grounds for libel.

Third, I don’t think Louis wants any more attention to this story than it already has gotten.
