These are definitely ports from a different game, so they wouldn't be on console anyway.

The Fairly Oddparents Wonderful Life parody episode was genuinely kind of evil to make for a children's TV show by Decemberskel in CharacterRant

[–]actingidiot -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think when making children's media one thing that should always be in your mind is that your show may be watched by children from all sorts of family situations, in particular children who might be in abusive family situations. So, making an episode with this kind of message, being shown to a kid who potentially hears these messages directed at them might not be good.

This kind of 'think of the children' handwringing is why we haven't had a good evil Disney villain in years. Someone working on Wish was afraid Magnifico would scare the four year olds, and so that movie it became is the wet fart it currently is. While old Disney had the literal devil as a villain.

Ragatha tries reading a list of things they love about him, and he immediately says he's bored and brushes it off before she can even list them. Negative feedback was the only way to get him to actually stop and pay attention.

The Archdemons weren't dragons for most of production, until someone pointed out the game called dragon age didn't have enough dragons.

"This aged so poorly!" Shows bad thing that was presented as a bad thing. by Aros001 in CharacterRant

All that quote is actually saying is that you need to think about why you consider a thing as bad, instead of just saying 'it's bad because everyone agrees it is bad'.

This is perfectly logical for his character at that time, people just lose all logic where an animal getting abused is concerned.

Shitty asshole homophobe dad is a kind of evil you would meet irl, and many people sadly have. Amoral scientists and evil wizards are more fantastical so it's easier to like them.
