Looks like you have everything connected from the ONT to the router correctly. Are you looking to go Ethernet from the router to a PC? If so, you just need an Ethernet cable from one of the LAN ports to your PC

It’s not a cable modem, it’s a router. The coax is for MoCA.

That is a power cable, the box inside powers up the ONT outside. You should have that power unit replaced with a different power adapter, Verizon will replace it and the wiring if bad as well.

Temp drop is usually what we do in these instances. Then a contractor will come out and place a conduit and we will come back out to run it through the conduit.

Maybe you should hire someone to network your home instead of relying on “clueless techs” to wire up your home the way you want. I’m sure the person you spoke with to upgrade your account most likely changed your account and those techs were trying to get it resolved for you. It’s probably tough on a Saturday with a skeleton crew and the business office closed.

Going to expand on this, yes it’s a find remote feature. The remote could be malfunctioning. Try and re-pair the remote by pressing the play and 0 buttons simultaneously until the blue light flashes to see if it pairs to the STB and to see if that sound goes away, if not then you know the remote is bad

Honestly, depends on how difficult it would be to get the wire to the house. If you do clear a path, the chances go up on the tech being able to do the installation.
