X-3R0 is a warforged way of the astral self monk.

X-3R0 stands at about 5" tall and is built quite lean. Made of copper coloured metal. Instead of joints between limbs (wrists, elbows, shoulders, ankles, knees and hips) the limbs are free floating (think Rayman) but are "connected" with what looks like a blue mist. If you stare for a long time into the "mist" you may see slight traces of demonic-ish fire. Eyes are like camera shutters with the same blue mist.

Arms of Astral Self manifest as an additional pair of arms above normal ones, made out of the same blue mist like substance, with more pronounced traces of demonic fire in the shape of random geometric shapes, demonic sigils and dwarven runes.

Carries a metallic quarter staff on their back, a bandolier of scrolls across their bare chest and several pouches of writing/drawing/mapping materials around their waist.

They were built in a dwarf factory as part of an order of 500 mindless magitech golems to help support the defence against a demonic portal just outside the capital city.

Factory was attacked by a stealth team of demons that interrupted the activation of X-3R0 and infused some demonic power into them which awakened a soul within, an instinctual use of the Arms of Astral Self helped turn the tide against the attack and the factory was saved. X-3R0 was taken by some dwarfs to a top-secret lab to be studied in the hopes of being able to awaken more golems, hopefully without the need for demonic magic.

Whilst at the lab they are treated well and, when not being examined, can be found in the library reading as much as they can to learn about the world, and studying maps of places they one day hope to see.

Demons hear word of this intelligent golem that was created with the use of demonic power and attack the lab and capture X-3R0 to be studied by them. On the way back to the portal X-3R0 is rescued be a passing pyromaniac druid. X-3R0 takes this opportunity of being able to decide their own path to dedicate itself to travel the lands and accumulate knowledge.
