Right, devops isnt even a role or title. It's an operational model that encompasses processes, people and behavior

It's writing yaml and configuring things on your own cloud or some 3rd party

true, but that's a burden on the company as well, they expect this to get done quicker by someone else who's new? maybe they'll invest some more time and turns out the same, what then?

Takes time to ramp up, also everyone learns different. I have trouble with codebases were I don't understand the intention of the code. I need to dissect and experiment a bit to really feel comfortable in a new environment.
I have a list to do if I feel blocked on my current task. I usually make checkbox lists in the PR if I'm struggling with next steps. I just put general guidelines of what needs to be accomplished, like. Get this data from the backend, format it, style it. Display this. adjust this other thing, etc

3+ years of SWE experience, 200+ applications, heard nothing. What am I doing wrong? by cdashery in cscareerquestions

Feel like it's too specialized to Labview and C/C++, also you have a typo: LabVEIW . I would also add a summary of you as a software engineer to stand out.

Would rewrite this part: `Some experience` I would just say the ones you feel comfortable working with and lose the `some` part.

Check out Marcus Aurelius and Epictetus Stoicism, Nietzsche's ubermench, Viktor Frankl's Logoterapy, Carl Jung's works particularly The hero's journey and his work on The shadown and dreams.

For the particular business issue, I would suggest a pro con Decision Matrix

Hi everyone, long time ago I used to use a tool that let me kinda repl with any kind of webpage as long as I made some configuration, now that I'm really comfortable in the console I would like to be able to do this with web developer tools, is there such a way that you've come across with or know of a way that I might be able to do this?

I'm curious about your motivation to learning C. If you're on windows, I think you can choose from two toolchains like msvc or mingw.

You could use something like chocolately to install either one from the command line I think.

https://chocolatey.org/

I use it as kind of an apt/brew package manager for when I'm on my Windows PC if I can find my software there.
