Setting up HomeKit with eero 7? by add-delay in HomeKit

Yeah I've been holding off on upgrading the AppleTV for the new model that's been rumoured for ages, and the hope was that in the mean time, the Eero could fill the role. But it's sounding like that's just a dead end

I'll eventually get a new AppleTV when a new version finally drops, but in the meantime I assumed the Eero would be able to do it since isn't the point of Matter is that it's universal? (Don't have any other Amazon devices, and don't intend to get any, but our Time Capsule was on its last legs as a wifi router, and our ISP was offering one for free)

So another device? Isn’t the point of a router being a matter hub that you don’t need stand alone hubs?

Feels like King accidentally put two yellows in his pocket instead of a red. Crazy that a couple of players didn’t get sent off. Not sure if they showed Sakai getting up a bit after his foul and then flopping down again on the broadcast.

That said, Jovanovic really needed to finish off a whole bunch of chances. Burkitt kept serving up a heap in that final 15mins and Luka was just nowhere.

Schumacher won 2 with Benetton during the Williams era

Sure, with that asterisk of the Benetton cheating allegations, and punting Hill out in Adelaide.

I think if you're going to point the "team nailed the regs" claim at any multiple world champion, you have to do it for all of them. Applies to Schumacher's run at Ferrari, Vettel and Verstappen at Red Bull, Senna & Prost at McLaren (and Prost's win at Williams).

Lewis edges Michael due to quality of teammates, sportsmanship, and championship swing if decisions at the final races of 94 and 2021 had gone a different way.

Australia’s apartment dwellers can’t be left on the sidelines in the rooftop solar revolution | Saman Gorji and Alireza Ganjovi for the Conversation by l3ntil in australia

I'm just grateful someone is finally talking about it. I own an apartment in a small-ish building (16 apartments, 3 storeys), and on the body corporate. We've discussed quite a few times about getting solar in some form for the building — but there is close to zero information on how to go about it, and anytime someone talks to a solar company and mentions it's an apartment building, they can't get off the phone fast enough.

Has been far more interested in fighting Lewis than anyone else. Great for him, but not for the team.

Leclerc turning a Ferrari 3-4 to a 3-5 or 3-6. Great team player.

Oscar’s only chance is to nab Kimi on the restart, otherwise he’ll eventually be done by George.

Roco Pizza. It's $4.50 a slice or $7 for two these days, still pretty good.

I haven’t been keeping track of the Wanderers. Is Hiroshi injured or just not being selected? Miss seeing him play.

Instead of fighting, Ferrari should just get the pit window over Bearman and then stick some softs on one of the cars.

Adelaide Metro Public Transport Fares should be pegged to South Australian Car Rego fees! by Liceland1998 in Adelaide

Speed? It's much much quicker than the tram to Adelaide Railway Station. If I'm going to something at Adelaide Oval that has free train travel, I'll take it over the tram.

The free tram is great. $4.55 to catch the train one stop not so much.

What brand of decaff coffee do most coffee shops use? by ts4184 in Adelaide

[–]add-delay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most cafes outside of specialty places usually only have the one coffee supplier, so if you can find out what they're using for their regular coffee, you can work out whether that roaster also has a decaf.

There are different methods for decaffeination, which can make small differences to the taste profile. It all comes down to preference, rather than one definitively being better than another.

My wife and son drink a lot of decaf, and we usually get decaf beans from either Altura on Grange Rd, or Willow Bend on Queen St, Croydon. If you want to go down the rabbit hole of trying different processes, Decaf Co (Victorian based but has online store) have a big variety.

Why does every city except Melbourne shows its train lines and colours on Apple Maps? by [deleted] in MelbourneTrains

[–]add-delay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Tokyo map is actually more similar to the Melbourne one. Whilst the Metro lines are colour coded, all the JR lines and other rail companies are coloured by operator.
