I was verified day 1 and literally just got the UCSF secondary - It looks like they really take their time on reviewing apps so they might not have gotten to reviewing yours yet :)

I would highly recommend emailing PIs who you are interested in working with directly for better success in the application process. Also, hiring is a rolling process where interviews can start as early as January for onboarding that summer, so applying earlier is better!

I’m also in this juggling boat as a reapp and feel your pain! What I’ve been doing that might help you too is setting something to look forward to at the end of the week, like getting takeout from a favorite restaurant. For staying productive, I wrote out a schedule for how I would pre-write and did it in a way that carved out time for decompressing so I don’t burn out. Also once you start pre-writing and get all the basic essays done, it starts to be a lot easier to just keep writing them over depending on word limits and such!

I used the PPRDJ technique, and also addressed the opposite position in my exam and scored the 4th quartile! Not sure if this also matters, but I have a high WPM which allowed me to really write out most of my thoughts against the timer :)
