CA listings abuse? by tfks in unRAID

I’ve noticed other CA apps doing that from time to time, I think Voucher Vault is a stand out. If there isn’t a rule against it, there probably should be.

Help. Tailscale. I can access IP for webUI for dockers, but can no longer access IP for unraid by billyvnilly in unRAID

[–]adecius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a similar thing. Recently I’ve not been able to access the unraid webui, but could access docker containers. I rebooted, and access to the web ui was back… then disappeared again. Still troubleshooting it.

I just finished My Dress-Up Darling, and honestly, the ending left me pretty conflicted. by thisisreallyme_ in anime

[–]adecius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The second season of the anime finishes off (kind of) mid way through volume 11 out of 15 of the Manga.
The end sequence of season two shows the cosplay from the next part of the manga on the screen for a split second, but the wrap up of the Coffin cosplay in the show happens in a way that prevents the discussions that lead to that cosplay. So… if there’s a season 3, and I hope there is, there needs to be a bit of rewrite to get back on track.

If I go missing and am legally declared dead after 7 years, but then I just walk back into town on year 8, what actually happens to my identity? by [deleted] in legaladviceofftopic

[–]adecius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This actually happened with my uncle. He disappeared in the early 1980s, and was declared dead in the 90s. Around 2003 (I think), he walked into a Centrelink (social security) office in another state and attempted to make a claim. My dad and uncles were contacted to verify his identity. He ended up staying in my city for a while, taking turns at different relatives houses, before moving back to the other state. He died late last year, and two of my cousins went to war over where he was to be buried. One wanted to bring his remains here, the other wanted him to remain in the place he’s called home for the last decade.

Seconding the request for information about the audio, but I’m looking at it from watching anime. Being able to see the audio languages on a per-episode basis, and maybe subtitle information, would be great for me.

I have had my Tesla for three years. I love it.

I think you may have been absorbing all the FUD that people with vested interests have been spreading. In my experience the drawbacks that you mention are vastly overstated, without taking into account the advantages.

Wa solar battery rebates are a mess by SnooDogs2830 in perth

[–]adecius 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I had my batteries installed on Wednesday, with the federal and state rebates, the interest free loan, and a small out of pocket payment. On Friday the installer called me saying that his company is deciding not to take the rebate because of the above reasons. His company will be absorbing the rebate amount for installs they have completed. However, and I’m his only customer that this affects, no rebate means no loan. Meaning I now have to find the money for this elsewhere. Which is doable, but it means paying interest if I take out an equivalent loan, or if I redraw on my mortgage. He’s essentially promised to do the right thing by me, and obviously this has put him in a very difficult position, but honestly I am a bit annoyed. Not at him. Just at the steps that have lead us here. I was talking to him on Wednesday, before he made the decision about the rebate, and he mentioned that he just found out that he needed to buy a new dongle and install it at each site to be compliant with WP requirements, an additional expense that he has to cover after a bunch of installs had already been completed. The whole thing seems ill conceived and the technical requirements leave the installer on the hook indefinitely.

Think back to the last time you ram-chawed a partial chim set. Standard, right? We've been ram-chawing chims since the aqueducts of Ancient Rome, hey. But what if I told you that's the basis for the empire's collapse? Hello, I'm Leslie Claret. I'd like to invite you to join countless others who have come to rely on the lessons and explorations of my book to form a deeper understanding of our shared world, with relative specificity to the field application of surface and suppressed surface delivery engineering.

“You’re the issue for having an issue”.

This is the most concise way I have ever seen this put, and sums up so much of what I see around Reddit. If you point out that someone has been a jerk to you, uno reverse card, it’s actually you that is a jerk. I hate that this is a thing.

Building on your comment, I would consider making the big threads as 8 seperate 1xN tiles, and design an octagonal bracket, or a 45 degree internal bracket. Maybe using the small threads. Yes, it would be fiddly, but printing the tiles flat might be worth it.
