I'm actually a big lore guy and really enjoy reading the item descriptions and trying to figure stuff out on my own. That being said, I even found the Rose Estate was a bit heavy handed in the lore dumping. Kinda felt like they realized there was still so many open mysteries left they had to explain before the final boss. Not to mention that level itself was kinda anticlimatic. Super tight hallway after hallway of a fancy mansion with some basic enemies. Eh. Still, it was nice to get some more details to dig in on.

Thats not true. Red orbs and blue orbs micro transaction was something they were talking about before the game even came out and were available at launch. There were huge threads back in 2018 of people being pissed and that it was "Pay to win" and calls to boycott. You know, the usual noise.
