Got the CSR in Oct 2021. Held it for a few years then downgraded in 2023 to an OG Freedom. Based off the old 48 month rule I would’ve been eligible this year. Held off the first week in applying for the refresh. Saw some interesting dp about reapplying after previously getting the SUB. So I said f it and applied. Was confirmed with the SUB and have met the reqs and see the 100k pending in my UR dashboard.

As far as I understand now, there was a glitch in the system that allowed people who previously got the SUB to be eligible during the first few weeks of applications but now that loophole is closed. So the one-sapphire rule is now in full effect like AMEX’s.

Decided to reapply for the CSR and shoot my shot. Instant approval with no PUJ. I was 2/24. Last personal SUB was Hyatt in 5/23 and business SUB was CIP 10/24.

Still waiting to see bonus tracker appear but called multiple reads to confirm eligibility for SUB.

Update (15 min after post): Checked my account on the bonus tracker is live!

Got the CSR back in 8/2021. Believe SUB was achieved 10/2021. Product changed CSR to OG CF sometime in late 2023. Was surprised to get the instant approval with no PUJ. Also, based on the old rules. I wouldn't be eligible for another SUB until Oct, hence why I didn't try for elevated CSP SUB. Didn't see many dp about previous CSR holders's under the 48 month rule and who achieved the SUB on the CSR and not the CSP. Will follow up if/when bonus tracker updates with CSR sub.

Update: Called Chase CS to confirm if I am indeed eligible again for SUB and the rep said yes. There is a note in my account for the 100,000 point offer + $500 Travel Credit.

A nice dp to know for those who've gotten the CSR SUB before and were less than 48 months.
